Brigadier (Dr) Gautam Ghose graduated from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College. He also completed his post-graduation in Community Medicine from the same institution.
During his service in the Armed Forces, he was one of the pioneers of operationalising the Ex-servicemens Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS) throughout the country covering over 1 crores beneficiaries. His career has spanned 37 years of illustrious service in professional, academic and administrative appointments in the Armed Forces, for which he was twice awarded the Chief of Army Staff Commendation.
He is with IQ City Medical College since the last 6½ years.
