Department of Health & Family Welfare, Kolkata, is the authority responsible for conducting the West Bengal MBBS admission. The authorities release the application form for West Bengal MBBS admission tentatively in the fourth week of June every year. The West Bengal NEET admission is granted on the basis of scores obtained in NEET. Candidates need to qualify the entrance examination by obtaining the minimum NEET cutoff percentile. For the West Bengal NEET admission, aspirants have to get themselves registered by filling the application form. Candidates will have to participate in a document verification session for counseling of West Bengal NEET, after the completion of registration process. Based on the document verification process authority will release the West Bengal MBBS merit list which is followed by choice filling, seat allotment process. Aspirants need to note that the mode of counseling will be online for both the rounds of counseling for the West Bengal MBBS admission and if required the authority will conduct an extra mop-up round.
Candidates are advised to read carefully all the eligibility criteria which are mentioned below and then appear in the NEET Examination. If any candidate will find to be ineligible, their candidature will be cancelled and they will not be allotted the seats.

Candidates have to fill their choices of courses and colleges according to their preferences of getting admission in West Bengal MBBS. Candidates are advised to fill and lock the choices as many as they prefer because it is one of the important factors on which seats will be allotted in West Bengal MBBS counseling 2020.
After the completion of the seat allotment process, the authorities will allot the seats of candidates for West Bengal MBBS 2020 admission. The process of allotments will be done on the basis of filling and locking of choices during West Bengal MBBS counseling, availability of seats and merit rank.
