Rabindra Jayanti

Rabindra Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm and reverence on 7th May, 2025 at IQ City Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences to commemorate the birth anniversary of the Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore. The programme was organized to pay tribute to the legendary poet, philosopher, educationist, and cultural icon whose literary and musical contributions continue to inspire generations. The celebration commenced with paying homage by the Principal madam Dr. Shyamshree SS Manna, Dean Academics, Dr. Niloy Sarkar, faculty members, and students. The programme began with a soulful rendition of Rabindra Sangeet, setting a serene and cultural atmosphere. The Principal madam and Dean Sir, addressed the gathering, emphasizing the relevance of Tagore’s ideals in modern education and professional life. The speech highlighted how Tagore’s philosophy encourages creativity, ethics, and holistic development among students. Students actively participated in various cultural events including:
  • Recitation of Tagore’s poems
  • Rabindra Sangeet performances
  • Dance performances based on Tagore’s compositions
  • A short speech highlighting the life and philosophy of Rabindranath Tagore
The performances beautifully reflected Tagore’s vision of humanity, nature, and universal harmony.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Dr. Suddhasattya Dey, expressing gratitude to the organizers, participants, and audience for making the event successful.

The celebration of Rabindra Jayanti at IQ City Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences was a memorable event that strengthened cultural values and fostered unity among students and faculty members.
