About Pharmacy College

Q City Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences (IIPS) is one of the premier institutions housed in 100 acres of lash green Health and Knowledge Campus of IQ City Foundation. It imparts application based knowledge and use to train its students in state-of-the-art laboratories. In IIPS, we foster holistic development of each and every students with a focus to make them successful in every facets of their life and career. Currently we are offering following programmes –

1. Bachelor in Pharmacy (B. Pharm.) and
2. Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharm.)

Both the above programmes are approved by Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) – New Delhi and affiliated to West Bengal University of Health Sciences and State Medical Faculty of West Bengal respectively. We maintained the highest standards of quality, relevance, and excellence, preparing our students for successful careers in pharmacy and related fields. As a renowned name in eastern India, IQ City has established itself as a hub for Medical and Health education, encompassing programmes like, MBBS, Pharmacy, Allied Health and Nursing Sciences. IQ City Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences made a remarkable debut by hosting a National Conference in last year, on ‘Pharmacy Practices and Medication Safety’ that brought together leading academicians and industry stalwarts from different parts of the country to share their experiences and ideas with our students. This prestigious event attracted hundreds of students and other delegates from all over the country, who actively participated in scientific sessions, poster presentations, interactive sessions etc. In addition to this flagship event, every year the institute also celebrated different occasions which includes- – National Pharmacy Week (NPW) – Pharmacist Day – National Pharmacovigilance Week etc. Furthermore, the institute fosters a vibrant campus life by hosting annual events such as: – Annual Sports and Tech Fest – Cultural Fest etc.   Unique Facilities at IIPS-

1. Students can undergo hospital training at the in-house 1200 bedded hospital.
2. ⁠Students can undergo various ADR (Adverse Drug Reaction) monitoring programs through direct patient counselling and can dispense medications to the patients with the supervision of the senior pharmacists.

• Students can learn the various techniques related to the storage management and inventory control in terms of medications and injectables.

1. Students can learn about the various Biochemical and Pathological tests from our in house hospital laboratories, which will enhance their knowledge and may add a new dimension in terms of research work.
2. ⁠Students can learn about clinical trial methods by utilising our CCSEA (Committee for Control and Supervision of Experiments on Animals) approved animal house. In collaboration with the Department of Pharmacology, IQ City Medical College; our students have the opportunity to know about the human clinical trials, which may be beneficial for their future research endeavours.
3. We offer in-house medical facilities at a discounted rates, available round the clock (24×7) for all of our students.
